She is built of steel, and fitted with a pair of compound surface condensing engines, 10 horse-power nominal, 60 horse-power indicated, with high pressure boiler of large capacity, to bear a pressure of 90 pounds per squarejnch'; steams well with a small consumption of fuel. She can seat 75 people, has large water ballast, and is especially adapted for harbor or river passenger traffio, or for towing.
