George Thomas reports sales this wees:— Flour (oolonial), £10 to £10 10s; oats are still advancing, and are now quoted at 2s 5d to 2a 61; bran, £3 10 a (aacks in) ; fowls' wheat, 2a 9d to 3s ; maize, 3a 9d; pollard, £4 10 a; potatoes, £i 15s to £3; bacon, 8d; hams, \od; cheeße, 4d; butter, 9d to lOd; oatmeal, lid; barley, 2s 6d; rye grass, 6d; cockßtoot, 3£d. Also held a sale of property situated in tbe Butt Township yea torday, oompriaing 4 acres land, with email house erected thereon, and Mr. O. W. Clayton was the purchaser for £200. Ijaeby & Oampbell report that since the 18th inst., the demand for produce has been steady for small lines, with no alteration in price. At their sole to-day, there was neither fresh, butter nor poultry to offer, and eggs did not command a price justifying their sale. Market very quiet, but pricee remain very firm.
