Bailed, Ipjn.— Botomahana, for Wellington. The a s. Arawata arrived in harbor this afternoon from Melbourne and Hobart via southern ports. She leaves tor Sydney via East Coast and Auckland to-morrow. The ab. Tui arrived from Foxton at 4 16 p.m. yesterday, and returnß to same port this evening The s.b. Jane Douglas, from Foxton via Kapiti, arrived here at 6 o'olock last evening. She leaves for Kaikoura and Lyttelton to-morrow. The steamer Go-Ahead arrived last night from Napier and Castlspoint. She leaves for Lyttelton this afternoon. The Kiwi arrive 1 irOm the East Coast at 3 p.m. to-day. Her departure hoe been postponed until Monday. The katch Comet, frpm Lyttelton, arrived in harbor at 8 o'clook this morning. The topsail schooner Elizabeth Curie, Capt. Grubb, left Timaru on the 6th inst., and had light baffling weather up to Wednesday, on \7bioh day a heavy northerly gale set in and the vessel hod to be hove-to for 16 hours. On Friday morning had light SE. breeze, increasing to a gale last night; arrived off the Heads at 6.30 p m. and anohored at 7.30 last night. Captain Dicker, of the Go- Ahead. having been detained at Napier to act as nautical assessor in the enquiry re the collision between the Booj urn and Sir Donald, the Go-Ahead came in lost night under the command of Captain Hart. The sailing of the Mohak* for Blenheim has been postponed until to-morrow. The b b Storxubird did not leave for Foxton last' evening, but will make a start this afternoon The barque Crownthorpe, bound for London via Lyttelton, is now in the fairway waiting for a change of wind. The steamers Manawatu and Huia made a start for Wanganui yesterday, but owing to the heavy weather experienced outside, put back to port. They sail again this afternoon. The 8.8. Botomahaca, from Auckland via the East Coast, arrives nere to-morrow morning, and on Monday leaves for Melbourne via the South. The s.b. Hawea leaves Lyttelton to-night, and should arrive here to-morrow. On Monday she •nils for Fioton and Nelson. The sohooner Herald leaves Lyttelton to-day for Hokitika. m a The steamer Napier is barbound at Wairau. Bhe will probably arrive here to-morrow. The steamer Wallace had not arrived from Neleon up to 3p m. to-day. She is, no doubt, taking shelter in the Sound.
