THE WRECK OF THE TARARUA.

[UNITED FEESB ASSOCIATION,] Dunkdin, 13th May. The Daily Times correspondent telegraphs from Wyndham to-day that six bodies were found on the beach ' this morning, John Barry, Roderick Walsh, and William E. Wilson being identified by papers found on their bodies. One other body ie supposed to be that of the chief engineer, Alexander Munro, as he had on blue serge trousera and a vest with the Union Company's buttons, and answers to the description given of that officer by the chief mate. On barry was found a pocket-book, containing a bank draft for £80. The other two are not identified. These make a total of 61 bodies recovered up to date. The Dunedin police left the beach early this morning, and it is understood that both Inspector Buckley and Detective Tuohy follow them to-morrow. The friends of the late Captain Garrard intend to have the body exhumed and taken to Christchnrch for burial. ShouM tho body of Mr. Eameay be recovered, it will also be removed by his friends. The roads here are cutting up very rapidly, making the journey to and from the beach in the earns day a matter of great difficulty. This Day. Michalieff. was the only witness examined at the Tararua enquiry this morning.
