Taiaroa lelt Port Chalmerß at 12.15 p.m. on the lOtb, and arrived at Lyttelton at - 7.50 a.m. on the llth ; sailed again at 5.15 p.m., and arrived art 1.20 this afterncjpn ; strong N.W. winds with heavy sea were experienced. . She ¦oils North at noon to-morrow. The p.B. Manawata left Wanganui at 7.45 last night and arrived here at 9 30 this morning. She returns to same port to-morrow. ' Tho B.s. Huia, from Wanganui, arrived at 6.45 this morning, after a floe lun of 11 hours. She returns to Wanganui to-morrow. The b.s. Wakatu arrived here at 7 o'clock this morning from Wanganui, having left there at 6.40 last night. She leaves for Patea to-morrow. The brig PhiUiß, from Adelaide, which we mentioned as being signalled yesterday, was brought in by Pilot Holmes at 2 o clock this morning. The steamers Btormbird for Kaikoura and Waipapa, Graf ton for Nelson and West Qoaat, and Penguin for the South, sailed laut evening. Tbe Storxnbird is expected back to-morrow. The B.s. Hawea, Irom Onenunga, via intermediate ports, arrives to : morrow morning, and in the afternoon sails for Lyttelton. The steamer Tui is expectedjtmok from Foxton to-morrow.
