' aabjecttonecesaary alterations, mails oloso at Ohief Poet Office, Wellington, &b under:— Thubbdat, 14th April. For Napier. Giaborne Auokland, and Australia, per ss Bingarooma, at 8 p.m. For Lyttelton and Southern Offices, per ss Penguin, at 8 p.m. Satxtrdat, 16th April. For Nelson, Westport, Greymouth and Hokitika, par pa Kennedy, at 5 p m. Important.— The 15th mat, Good Friday, will be observed as a close holiday, and all the branches of tbe Wellington Post Office will be closed. There will be no delivery by letter carriers on Good Friday. On the 18th inst. (Easter Monday) sub post offices will only open to tbe public from 10 to 10 80 a.m. and Irom otos 30 p.m. There will be one delivery made by the Wellington letter carriers, oommencing at 9 o.m. jBiDWAKD BUTTB, Chief Postmaster.
