The hitest bulletin issued with regard to the Earl of Beaconsfield's health, states that his Lordship is no worse since the last report, A severe disturbance occurred to-day at Clogher, in County Tyrone, Ireland. The sympathisers of a tenant violently resisted the service of a writ for his ejectment, when a serious riot occurred between tho people and the police. The latter fired upon the rioters, and killed two and wounded several others. Athens, 4th April. The Greek Government has issued a circular to the Powers regarding the offer made by the Porte for the settlement of the frontier question. The circular repeats and seeks to justify the refusal of the Hellenic Government to accept the offer of Turkey to cede territory in Thessaly alone, and strongly urges the claim of Greece to the town of Prevesa, in Epirus, in addition.

Russia has appealed to several European Governments to assist her in crushing the organisation under which the use of infernal machines is increasing seriously. A seditious speech recently -delivered by Mr. Dillon, member for Tipperary, is engaging the attention of the Crown law officers, with a view to a prosecution. In the negotiations with the Boers, which have been drawn up, it is stipulated that both sides shall restore the arms and property taken during the recent conflict. The independence of the Transvaal is granted, subject to certain conditions. British garrisons are to remain in the Transvaal, but without interfering with the internal government. Captain Elliott's murderers are to be delivered up. The Boers admit the suzerainty of the Qaeen, and have agreed to disperse if permitted to enjoy self-govern-ment, control of foreign relations being reserved to the British Crown. 23rd March. The Boers who were armed against the British have been disbanded. English newspapers are divided in opinion as to the terms of peace which have been arranged. Mr. Gladstone intends taking a yachting cruise during Easter. Sir William Harcourt, Secretary of State for the Home Department, has received a box containing a loaded pistol. Conors!
