Hawea, Captain Kennedy, left Manukau at 8 15 on the 30th March, and arrived at TaranaU same nighb at 11 p.m., and sailed for Nelson at 125 a.m. 3lßt, arriving at 3 p.m.; sailed for Piotou at 10 p.m , and arrived at 6 a.m. on tho Ist April ; left for Wellington at 7 a m., arriving at noon. Experienced strong N. W. winds with fine weather aorosa the Straits. She sailed for Lyttttlion this alten oon. The B 8. Huia left Wanganui at 11 o'clock last rjigut, crossed the bar at 11.30, and arrivod here at 11.10 thia mowing. Bbc returns to Wauganui to-morrow evening The b.h. Napier arrived from Blenheim at 3 o'clock this morning. Bhe reports the Government steamer Stella at anchor ia Cloudy Bay at 9 o'clock lust night. Tho Napier returns to Blenheim to-mon ow, The bb. O.eti art ived from Westport, with a cargo of coal, early ttiis morning. She leaves for Wangamu to-morrow evening. The Stormbird arrived from Wanganui at 12,15 thia afternoon, and returns to-morrow. The topsail schooner Fohoan arrived from Tlmaru last night and was moored at Glimmer and Reeve's wharf. Tbe Govoruaent steamer Stella left yesterday afternoon for Capo Campbell lighthouse The ateamers Manawatu for Wuuganui, Kennedy for Nelson, aud Jane Douglas for Kaikoura and Lyttelton, sailed lust evening The schooner ore&t of tbe Wave for Ureymouth, and bar qua Borneo for Lyttelton, got away yesterday. The s.B. Turarua arrives from Melbourne via South to-morrow. The barque Malay left Newcastle for Wellington yescorday.
