The s s. Wakatipu left. Port Chalmers on the 21th Lyttelton at 7 p.m. yesterday, and arrived here at 1030 this morning, having had light winds and smootu se» throughout. She sailed for Sydney direct tuis afternoon. The b a Jane Douglas lett i'oxton yesterday afternoon, and arrived here early this morning. She returns to Foxton this afternoon. The bs. Graf ton arrived from Lyttelton at noon to-day. Hhe leaves for Nelson and West Coast at 11 to-night. . Ihe s s Hi. Kudu came in at 6 pm. yeßterday from Port Chalmers, Uamaru and Lyttelton, and sailed for Wangauui this afternoon. The SB Oreti, from Port Chalmers, Oamaru and Lyttelton, arrived hare at 4 p.m. yesterday, and saiied for v anganui, Taranaki and Westport, thiß afternoon. The s b. Patea arrived here shortly after soon to-day, from Patea, and returns to Biuae port on. Monday. The steamers Botorue. for Auckland via East Coaßt, Murray, for Nelsoo and West Coast, and Napier for lileubeiui, sailed last evening. Ths Stormbird lef o for Wanganui this afterBoon. The Government steamer Hinemoa, this morning, went to the aasit&nce of the s.s. Penguin, stranded In Tory Channel. The b.B. flawea arrives from Nelson and Pioton to-morrow, and leaves same day lor Taranaki and Manukau with the outward San Francisco mail. The p.s. Manawatn arrives from Wanganui to-morrow morning, and returns to same port on Monday. • The ab. To Anau will airive to-morrow from Sydney via Auokland and East Coast. Bhe sails lor Melbourne via South on Monday. The p.s. Charleß Edward will arrive from Weat Coast and Nelson to-morrow, and leaves again for baine ports on Monday. The s.b. Kiwi, whico left Oastiepoint yeßterday morning for ellington via coauial stations, put back to Caßtlepomt at 5 last evening, the southerly wind preventing her working the coast. She, however, lett again early this morning, and will get in to-morrow. She leaves for Castlepoint. Nayier and Gisborne on Monday afternoon.
