At 10.30 to-night the neWonuroh in oonrao of erection for the Wealeyans was discovered to be on fire in the front part of the building, and before the alarm ooflld bet given the 1 whole place was in flames, and in less thdn half an hour was burnt to the ground. It is not known how the fire originated. Thd < adjoining places were saved by the plucky exertions of a few willing hands, who stood their ground manfully amid heavy showers Of * sparks. The contractor, William Ooletnan* ' has a builder's risk insured, but tho amount is not known. This Dat. The Wesleyan Churoh was insured by the"' builder and the trustees for £1000 in the ; National ; and by tho trußteoß of the ohuroh for £350 in the Northern. The contra* price for the building was about £1400.' ' '
