The s 1. Hawea left Lyttelton at 1.30 p.m. on the 21st inst., and arrived at Lyttelton at 7 a.m. yesterday; sailed again at 3 30 p m., and arrived here at 8.16 this morning. Bhe sails North tomorrow. The s s. Wanaka left Nelson at 1.15 p.m. yesterday, and reaohed Picton at 930 p.m. ; left at 13 30 m m. and arrived at the wharf at &30 thiß morning. Sue sailed South thia aiternoon. The s.s. Hula arrived in harbor at 2 30 this afternoon from Wanganui, She returns to same port to-morrow. AB we surmised yesterday, one of the barques signalled turned out to be tbe Borneo, irom New York and Poit Chalmers. She was towed in by the steam launch Waiwera, about 7 o'clock, and was berthed at the wharf this morning. Tha p a. Manawatu arrived from Wanganni at 3 o'clock tbis morning. Bbc returns this evening The b.s. Grafton arrived from Weat Ooaat and Nelsou at 11 o'clock last night, and sailed again thia afternoon for Lyttelton. The little steamer Mohaka, wbioh a short time baok was almost a wreck on tbe betoh near the Wairau Bar, arrived in harbor tbia morning. Captain Bendall went over to tbe scone ot the acoident about ten days ago on behalf of the insurance company interested, to superintend launching operations. He worked hard at box with a gang of men, and yesterday was successful in getting her afloat and bringing her over. She will now be put on the slip and thoroughly repaired. The topsail schooner Endeavour arrived in harbor tnis afternoon from Oamarn. The second barque signalled yesterday turns out to be tbe Stug. from Wangaroa, timber laden, for Stewatt & Co. She arrived in port last evening, being six days out. Mr. O. Ellaby, her agent, has secured a charter for her to loud at Oamara, for Adelaide. The steamers Napier for Blenheim, and Patea for Patea sailed lasc evening. The b.b. Jane Douglas sails for Foxton at 7 o'clock to-night. The b.b. Stormbird arrives from Wanganui to-morrow morning. The b.b. Btar of the South, from sonthern potta, should arrive tbis afternoon about 4 pan. The steamer Bt. Kilda leaves Lyttelton at 6 o'olock thia evening for Wellington, and should arrive to-morrow afternoon. The Government bteatner Stella, whioh has been visiting the southern lighthouses, arrived at Port Chalmers on Saturday last. Reports that at the Snares met a party of Penguin hunters, who stated that one of their number had been accidentally drowned. Captain Kennedy, of the Hawea, reports passing a dingy, bottom-np, when emering the Heads this morning.
