The police authorities have instituted proceedings against the proprietors of the Diorama of the American War under th«» Lotteries Act for infringement of the law by a " distribution of gifts" at the Theatre Boyal. THIB DAT. The ca3e against Lieut. Herman, for holding a lottery in conceation with the diorama, came on to-day, bnt was adjourned.
