From Taranaki, experienced strong winds till arrival. She sailed South this afternoon. The p.s. Samson arrived in harbor at 5 this morning, from Onohunga, Taranaki, Opunake, and Wanganui. Sho sails again this evening tor Wanganui, Waltara, and Manukau. The b s. Kennedy arrived early this morning from tbe Weet Coast and Nelson. She returns to same ports this evening. The B.a. Kiwi arrived from tbe Bast Coast this morning, and leaves for castlepoint and Napier this evening. Tho steamers Stormbird and Huia, for 'Wanganui, and -Jane Douglas for Foxton. sailed yesterday afternoon. They are expected back to-morrow. Tbe b.b. Fate a loft for Fatea this afternoon, and the Napier Bails for Blenheim to»night. The ship Euterpe set soil this morning and left for Timaru at 0 o'clock. She loads at Timaru for London. The steamer Star of the South should arrive on Tuesday from tbe South. She is advertised to sail for Wentport, Grey and Hokitika in the evening. We understand that Mr. Oreagh, formerly chief offlcor o! the s.s. Stormbird, has been appointed to the same position on Messrs. W. and G. Turnbull <fc Co.'b barquentine May. The barque signalled yesterday has not made hor appeai once yet
