Foul Play, On Dit, Badsworth, Redeemer, and My Dream were scratched. Randwick, on the strength of his victory yesterday, was made favorite. The flag fell to a good start. Libeller jumped away with the lead, Randwick next, and the remainder in a cluster. The field was a pretty one as they came round the bend into the straight, Libeller leading, with Randwick on his whip hand, Soukar third, Rocket fourth, and Natator fifth, Dan and King Quail bringing up the rear. Entering the straight, Sir George had a slight lead, and by dint of determined riding trie colt was landed a winner by a length, Libeller being seoond. Natator came with a grand rush, beating Randwick for third place. Dan was fifth, and King Quail sixth. Time, 4mins lOisocs. Sir George's victory waß loudly cheered. Maiden Plate, of CO soya. ; H miles. Frailty 1 Bine Gown 2 Chandler 3 Ten started. Venture led for a mile, but was then passed by Frailty, and Bine Gown wont ahead and ran a good race home, the former winning by half a length. District Handicap, of 100 soys ; 2 milesMy Dream ... ... ... .. ... 1 Sincerity 2 Messenger ... ... ... ... ... 3 Nine started. This was a very pretty race. My Dream won by a head. Time, 3mina 45secs. Consolation Eacb, of 40 soya. ; 1 mile and a distance. Dan 1 Annuity 2 Billingsgate 3 Four started, and, after a grand race, Dan won by a head. Time, 2mins 45 sees.
