Wind — Between south-east and north-east northward of Bast Cape, between north and west on the western coast, and between northeast and north-west tit other places. Babomhtkb— Fall at all stations, but moit at places southward of Lyttelton. BsA— lncrease of western coast, considerable between Kaikoura and Caatlepoint. Fine weather was generally experienced during toe last 24 hours in all parts of the colony ; moderate to freßh winds from southwest and south-east being prevalent north waid of ttapier, and from south- weßt to north-west and north over the southern districts. The area of high pressure noticed yesterday has moved in a north-easterly direction, causing a further rise of the mercury in the North, while a fall of about two-tenths of an inch has taken plaoe in the South.
