WRECK OF A HOBART BRIG.

[ttnitxd psess association, i Cheistchtjbch, This Dat. The brig Clematus, Henry Bowden master, with a cargo of palings and shingles from Hobart to Lyttelton, ran on a sunken rock near Long Look Ont Point yesterday, and sank shortly afterwards. The sea was calm when the vessel struck. With the assist* ance of the ketch Prince Enpert a [small portion of the cargo was saved. The crew and all their effects weifc also saved. The vessel belongs to Chajiee Dowdall, of Hobart, and is insured in an office in London.
