Dat Trams.— Through Trams between Newtown and the Railway Station pass every twenty minutea First day tram leaves Newtown 7.5 am; last, 6.5 p.m. Railway Station, first, 7.43 a.m. ; last, 6.43 p.m. Night Trams.— Leave Newtown 7.15, 8.25, 9.35 ; Railway Station, 7.53 ; Government Buildings, 9.0, 10.5.— The last tram from Government Buildings will atop for the closing of placea of amusement, if considered necessary. On Saturday night an extra tram will leave Newtown 6.45, 7.55, 9.0 ; Railway Station,7.23; Governmentßuildinga, 8.25, 9.35. Sunday Trams. — Leave Newtown at the hour and half -past tho hour ; Railway Station, at the hour and half-past the hour. — First tram from Nowtown 1.30 p.m. ; last, 6 p.m. From Railway Station, 1.30 p.m. ; last, 6.30 p.m. Fares, 3d. This Time Table will be altered as may be necessary on holidays and apecial occasions. ~VTEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS. WELLINGTON SECTION. TIME TABLE. On and after Ist November, 1880, Trains will leave Wellington New Station for — Featherston, Greytown, Carterton, and Masterton, at 7.30 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. Masterton for Carterton, Greytown, Featherston, and Wellington, at 7.50 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. Wellington for Upper Hutt — 7.30 a.m., 11.10 a.m,, 3.30 p.m., and 6.10 p.m. Upper Hutt for Wellington— B a.m., 11.10 a.m., 2 p.m., and 4.40 p.m. Wellington for Lower Hutt — 7.30 a.m., 11.10 a.m., 1.15 p.m., 3.30 p.m., 4.20 p.m., 5.10 p.m., and 6.10 p.m. Lower Hutt for Wellington— 6.so a.m.. 8.50 a.m., 11.50 a.m., 2.40 p.m., 5 p.m., and 5.25 p.m. Extra Trains will leave Wellington for Lower Hutt at 11,15 p.m. on Wednesdays, and at 10 a.m., 7.30 p.m., and 11.15 p.m., on Saturdays. Trains will leave Wellington for Lower Hutt on Sundays, at 9.30 a.m., and 2.30 p.m., returning from Lower Hntt, at 10.5 a.m., and 5.30 p.m. All trains will call at any intermediate station to take or Bet down, when required on notice being given the guard. GENEBAL CONDITIONS. Parcels and Gooda— For Kaiwarra, Ngahauranga, Belmont, Hayward's, Silver Stream, Wallaoeville. Summit, Cross' Creek, Pigeon Bush, iFernside, Woodside, and all Flag Stations, must be Prepaid, and will be put out on the Platforms of those Stations at the risk of the Consignee. Parcels and Goods — From the above Station can be made " To Pay " at Wellington, Petone, Lower Hntt, Upper Hutt, Kaitoke, Featherston, Greytown, Carterton, and Masterton. The Railway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of the Trains at the exact times notified in the above Tables, and in the event of any oiroumstances arising either during or prior to the journey being made which may render it impossible or inexpedient for a Train to proceed, will return the Fares paid, bnt does not undertake to forward the passengers. Luggage, — Each passenger is allowed to take 1121bs of personal luggage free (net including merchandise of any kind), and for every 561bs above this weight, for every 50 miles or fraction of 50 miles, the charge will be One Shilling. No luggage will be allowed to be taken into the Carriages, unless of such a size that it can be placed under the seat without inconvenience to other passengers. Pasaengers are strongly recommended to have their Names and the Station to which they are proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage, and to satisfy themselves that it is iplaced on the Train, as the Bailway Department will not be responsible unless it is booked and paid for. Passengers can be booked at Stations only on condition that there i 8 room in the Train. Children under three years of age travel free; above three and under twelve years of age, half-fare. Horsea, Carriages, &c. — The Eailway Department does not undertake to forward Horses and Carriages by any particular Train but when sent, they must be at the Forwarding Station haLE-an-hour before the departure of the Train. The owners of Horses must provide means for securing them in the horsebox, and the Railway Department will not be accountable for any injuries sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Horses. At Country Stations requisitions for horse-boxes or carriage-trucks must be made the day before they are i wanted. j Dogs mnst bo provided with chains, or other sufficient means of securing them, j They will not be allowed in carriages, and j the sender must obtain a ticket, to be given j up before the end of the journey, before the dog is delivered. All Time Tables issued prior to this date are now cancelled. Return or Periodical Tickets will not be available for Special or Excursion Trains, except the Ordinary Time Table is suspended. Return Ticketa for distances not exceeding 25 miles are available on the day of issue only ; for each additional 25 miles, or fractisn thereof, one day extra is allowed. Ordinary Single Tickets issued on Saturdays and Sundays are available as Return Ticketa until the end of the following Monday. • Special Notice.— To eneure deapatch, Parcela, Extra Luggage, and Doga must be at the Station at least Thirty Minutes before advertised time of departure of Train.
