A grand Btart was effected, all on level footing. Alfreda and Comus passed the grand stand together, the others in a cluster following. At the entrance to tha standing timber the field might have been covered with a tablecloth, and a grand race was witnessed till the back of the course was reached. Thero Borneo took the lead, with Lady Ellen second, the rest still following two lengths in the rear. This position was maintained until the turn into the straight, when Senorita, who was tho favorite, made her effort, and being well ridden, wrested the lead from Komeo, winning easily by two lengths, Barbara running into third place. I Time, 2min 48seC. Corinthian Cup of 25 soys. : one mile and a distance. To be ridden by members of theW.J.C. Walter's br c Billingsgate (Girdlestone) 1 Mace's br f Barbara (owner) ... ... 2 Comus, Senorita, Agent, and Borneo were scratched. Barbara led to the entrance to the straight running, when Billingsgate was let out by his rider and won easily. This Day. About 600 people are present. Handicap Hurdle Eace, of 50 eovs. P.
