In Regulation 38 — To add at end the words, "And one additional vote for every complete fifty shares above five hundred." i 2nd. In Regulation 43a. — To omit all tho words to and including the word " shares " in the fourth line, and to substitute the following in the place of the worda so omitted : '"Any person who holds a power of attorney from any shareholder." 3rd. Regulation 54. — To repeal the whole section, and substitute the following: "Any casual vacancy occurring in the Board of Directors shall remain open until the next General Meeting of the Company, and shall then be filled up by the Shareholders, notice having been given as required by Regulation 51a. Provided always that it shall be lawful for the Directors to appoint some qualified parson to act until such General Meeting is held, if in the opinion of the Directors such temporary appointment is urgently required." KILBIRNIE HIGHWAY BOARD. TAKE NOTICE -The Valuation Liat for the Kilbirnie Highway District, for the year 1881-2, is now open for inspection at the Tramway Hotel, Adelaide Road. All objections thereto must be left at the Resident Magistrate's Court, Wellington, on or before the 15th day of February, addressed to the Assessment Court; and a copy of every such objection must be left at the Tramway Hotel, Adelaide Road, not less than seven days before the next sitting of the said Court.
