MEETINGS OF CREDITORS.
A meeting of the creditors of William Sherwood Baine, of Wellington, land, stock, and station agent, was convened at the new Supreme Court buildings at 2.30 p.m. to-day. The liabilities are set down at .£730 12s lid, the principal amounts being— F. J. Moss & Co., Auckland, on three promissory notes, .£276 9s 9d; M. B. Miller, Napier, .£42 ; A. G. Badcock, Napier, .£IBO 14s 6d ; Edwards and Green, The assets amount to £70, viz., land at Timaru, .£2O ; books and machinery at Timaru, £o ; clothes, books, jewellery, office furniture, maps, <fee., £45. The goodwill of the New Zealand Pastoral and Agricultural News and goodwill of business are set down on the list of assets, but are represented in the money columns by blanks.
