FURTHER REDUCTIONS IN CIVIL SERVICE.
+ We understand that it is the intention of the Government to make further reductions and amalgamations in the Civil Service of the colony, and that Messrs. Batkin and Seed have been instructed to report as to the directions and manner in which such reductions and amalgamations can be most satisfactorily effected.
