This Company is formed for the acquirement of existing interests, erecting necessary premises, procuring additional machinery, and enlarging operations. Preserved meat, in tins, per day ; it includes every appliance, and is in complete working order. The slaughtering premises and the principal buildings have been recently erected. The premises are situated close to the Upper Hutt Railway Station, affording every facility for import and export. There is ample accommodation, with considerable acreage subdivided in suitable paddocks, well and securely fenced. The Provisional Director 3 have given every consideration to the pro]>osed undertaking, and being convinced that some such labour-pro-viding industries are absolutely necessary for this country, and having obtained the opinion of gentlemen competent to advise, as to the remunerative character of the business proposed, have not the slightest doubt as to the commercial success of the Company, and invite co-operation to establish this local industry, the Provisional Directors believe they will be liberally assisted to found what, in their opinion is a necessary and suitable industry, a large proportion of the material required in the manufactures being procurable in the locality. The Establishment would afford employment to a great number of persons in many directions, would give a great impetus to trade, and must prove remunerative and generally beneficial.
