Day Trams. — Through Trams between Newtown and the Railway Station pass every twenty minutes First day tram leaves Newtown 7.5 a.m ; last, 6.5 p.m. Railway Station, first, 7.43 a.m .; last, 6.43 p.m. Night Trams.— Leave Newtown 7.15, 8.25, 9.35 ; Railway Station, 7.53 ; Government Buildings, 9.0, 10.5.— The lost tram from Government Buildings will stop for the closing of places of amusement, if considered necessary. On Saturday night an extra tram will leave Newtown 6.45, 7.55, 9.0 ; Railway Station,7.23; Government Buildings, 8.25, 9.35. Sunday Trams.— Leave Newtown at the hour and half -past the hour ; Railway Station, at the hour and half-past the hour. — First tram from Newtown 1.30 p.m. ; last, 6 p.m. From Railway Station, 1.30 p.m. ; last, 6.30 p.m. Fares, 3d. This Company is formed for the acquirement of existing interests, erecting necessary premises, procuring additional machinery, and enlarging operations. The meat-preserving plant (which, together with the boiling-down plant, has been recently fitted up in an efficient manner), is capable of turning out 30001bs. Preserved meat, in tins, per day ; it includes every appliance, and is in complete working order. The slaughtering premises and the principal buildings have been recently erected. The premises aro situated close to the Upper Hutt Railway Station, affording every facility for import and export. There is ample accommodation, with considerable acreage subdivided in suitable paddocks, well and securely fenced. Tho Provisional Directors have given every consideration to the proposed undertaking, and being convinced that some such labour-pro-viding industries are absolutely necessary for this country, and having obtained the opinion of gentlemen competent to advise, as to the remunerative character of the business proposed, have not the slightest doubt as to the commercial success of the Company, and invite co-operation to establish this local industry, tho Provisional Directors beliovo they will be liberally assisted to found what, in their opinion is a necessary and suitable industry, a large proportion of the material required in the manufactures being procurable in the locality. The Establishment would afford employment to a great number of persons in many directions, would give a great impetus to trade, and must prove remunerative and generally beneficial. On the formation of the Company operations can be commenced without delay. Applications for shares to be sent nnder cover to W.
