He added that Mr. Martin anticipated a profit of about .£50,000 on the transaction. Messr?. Duncan, Harris, fil'Lood, Dempsey, Kennedy, Pilcher, Dawson, Brace Wallace, and Wills were next examined. The substance, of their testimony was to the effect that they umderstood the sale was to be wholly without reserve.
