TIME TABLE. a On and after Ist November, 1880, Trains will leave Wellington New Station for— Featherston, Greytown, Carterton, and Masterton, at 7.30 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. Masterton for Carterton, Groytown, Featherston, and Wellington, at 7.50 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. Wellington for Upper Hutt — 7.30 a.m., 11.10 a.m,, 3.30 p.m., and 6.10 p.m. Upper Hutt for Wellington—B a.m., 11*10 a.m., 2 p.m., and 4.40 p.m. • Wellington for Lower Hutt— 7.3o a.m., 11.10 a.m., 1.15 p.m., 3.30 p.m., 4.20 p.m., 5.10 p.m., and 6.10 p.m. Lower Hutt for Wellington— 6.so a.m., 8.50 a.m., 11.50 a.m., 2.40 p.m., 5 p.m., and 5.25 p m. Trains will leave Wellington for Lower Hutt on Sundays, at 9.30 a.m., and 2.30 p.m., returning from Lower Hutt, at 10.5 a.m., and 5.30 p.m. _ All trains wul call at any intermediate station to take or set down, when required en notice being given the guard. * GENEBAL CONDITIONS. Parcels and Goods — For Kaiwarra, Ngahauranga, Belmont, Hayward's, Silver Stream, Wallaoeville, Summit, Cross' Creek, Pigeon Bush, iFernside, Woodside, and all Flag Stations, must be Prepaid, and will be put out on the Platforms of those Stations at the risk of the Consignee. Parcels and Goodß— From the above Station can be made " To Pay " at Wellington, Petone, Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt, Kaitoke, Featherston, Greytown, Carterton, and Maßterton. The Eailway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of the Trains at the exact times notified in the above Table's, and in the event of any circumstances arising either during or prior to the journey being made which may render it impossible or inexpedient for a Train to proceed, will return the Fares paid, but does not undertake to forward the passengers. Luggage, — Each passenger is allowed to take 1121bs of personal luggage free (not including merchandise of any kind), and-fdr every 561bs above this weight, for every 50 miles or fraction of 50 miles, the charge will, be One Shilling. No luggage will be allowed to be token into the Carriages, unless of such a size that it can be placed under the seat without inconvenience to other passengers. Passengers are strongly recommend9d to have their Names and the Station to which they are proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage, and to satisfy themselves that it is .'placed on the Train, as the Eailway Department will not be responsible unless it is booked and paid for. Passengers can be booked at Stations only on condition that there is room in the Train. Children under three yeara of age travel free; above threo and under twelve years of age, half -fare. Horses, Carriages, &c— The Railway Department does not undertake to forward Horses and Carriages by any particular Train; but when sent, they must be at the Forwarding Station half-an-honr before the departure of the Train. The owners of Horses must provide means for securing them in the horsebox, and the Eailway Department willnot be accountable for any injuries sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Horses. At Country Stations requisitions for horse-boxes or carriage-trucks must -be made the day before they are wanted. Dogs must be provided with chains, or other sufficient means of securing them. They will not be allowed in carriages, and the sender must obtain a ticket, to De given up before the end of the journey, before the dog is delivered. Keturn or Periodical Tickets will not be available for Special or Excursion Trains, except the Ordinary Time Table is suspended. Eetnrn Tickets for distances not exceeding 25 miles are available on the .day of issue only ; for each additional 25 miles, or fr«KJtien thereof, one day extra is allowed. Ordinary Single Tickets issued on Saturdays and Sundays are available as Return Tickets Tintil the end of the f ollowiiig Monday- , , , Special Notice. — To ensure despatch, Parcels, Extra Luggage, and Dogs must be at the Station at least Thirty Minntes before advertised 'time of departure of Train.
