m The S.B. Wanaka arrived from Lyttelton at 3 pjn. yesterday, and sailed for Pioton and Nelson this afternoon. The s.B. Botorua left Sydney on the 23rd ult., called at Russell, Auckland, Gisborne and Napier, arriving here at 7 a.m. yesterday. She sailed South this afternoon. The Hawoa returned from Picton and Nelson at 8.45 a.m yesterday, and left again in the afternoon for Taranaki and Manukau. The s.&. Oreti, from the Manukau, via Taranaki and Wanganui, arrived yesterday and Bailed South this afternoon. The Bteamers Patea Irom Pataa, and Charleß Edward from Nelßon, arrived yesterday, and return to same ports this afternoon. The Government steamer Binemoa arrived at the railway whturt at 2pm. on Saturday. She left Lyttelton the previous night, having on board 52 Maori prisoners, who have been diaoharged from the gaol at Lyttelton. She leaves for Taranaki to-morrow evening. The ss. Mohaka a small steamer of 30 tons, arrived from Napier ttt 12 30 this afternoon. She has been purchased by threo Wellington men, who intend using her in the harbor in any trade she can seoure work. She left £< apier on SaturThe Arawata lelt for Auckland, via the East Coaßt, on Saturday night. The Tui, which come in from Foxton on Saturday, leaves for Kaikoura and Lyttelton this evening. The ship Hermione, for London, sailed down to Worser Bay on Saturday, and got away with the change of wind yesterday. She took a cargo valued at £84 873. Tne repairs to the Grafton wero token in hand by Messrs. Coffey & Dixon on Tuesday morning and were completed in a very satisfactory manner and the vessel at sea again on Saturday morning She was supplied with a new fore mast and fore top-maßt, also main top-mast. Messrs. w, and G. Turnbull & Co. have just raoeived a telegram from their agents at Singapore, Btating that their barquentins May had sailed from that port for Wellington direct on the 28th December. The Bteamsrs Huia and Manawatu are expected from Wanganni to-morrow.
