The b.b. Htaemoa, from Auckland and Tara- j naki, arrived here at 11 o'clock tarn mornirg, fc&ving lolt the latter place at 230 yesterday afternoon. She left here again at 1 35 this afternooa for Lyttelton, taking the Maori priEoners •he brought from Taranaki. The b.b. Wafc&tfpu left Bydnoy at 2 p m on the 2nd inst , sighted land at 9 am. on the 7th, passed Cape Farewell at 5 p in. and arrived at Wellington at 8 o'clock this morning ; she experienced light northerly winds and flue weuth* r throughout. We have to thank Mr E. J. Touct, purser, for files, &o. The Wakatipa sails South this evening. *Tbe ss. Hawea left Port Chalmers at 2.90 p.m. on the 6th, and reaohed Akaroa at 5.50 next morning ; moved on at 7.10 and arrived at Lyttelton at 1 p.m. ; sailed again at 545 p.m , and made fast to the Wellington wharf aft 8 45 this morning. She loaves Jtor.Pioton and Nelßon tomorrow. The s s. Taiaroa left Nelson at 10.45 on the 7th September, and arrived at Picton At 7 p.m, ; left again at 9 and arrived at a3O this morning. Sho flailed South this afternoon. The s.s. Patea arrived this morning from Patea •nd returns to same port to-morrow. The s.s. Napier arrived bore early this morning from Blenheim, and returns to same port this evening. The schooner Savoy Lass arrived early this morning with a cargo of potatoes from Ktukoura The steamers Manawatu and Wakatu soiled last evening for Wanganui, and are expected book to-niotrow. The fl.s. Tui should arrive to-morrow from Ly ttalton and Kaikoara. Bhe leaves again same day lor Foxton. The bb. Arawata is now in dook at Port Chalmers, undergoing an overhaul. The b s. Go-Ahead Bhould arrive from Napier and Caslepoint to-morrow night, and on Fiiday morning leaves for Lyttelton. ¦- ¦¦
