The diamond drill has bored 60ft on the south side of tho Kanieri River, prospecting for coal tlirougli the Sandstone. This Dat. At ,the Supreme Court yesterday, Dennis Lynch was sentenced to six months" infprisonment on both charges of larceny ; W. Cook to eighteen months' hard labor for two charges of forgery . Julia Braddon, charged with larceny, Ellen Kitts with manslaughter, and Peter Drury with assault with violence, were all acquitted. The Court sits again today.
