Bailed. 11.25 a.m.— Hawea, for Pioton and Wellington. The 8.0. Wanaka arrived here at 6 p.m. yesterday from Port Chalmers and Lyttelton, bringing a supplementary Suez mail. She lelt again this afternoon for the North The ■a. Hinemoa returned from Pioton at U. 46 last night with the Railway Commissioners. She left again for Napier this forenoon. The s b. Murray, from Nelson, arrived at 9.30 last sight. She returns to Nelson and West Coast at 6 this evening. from Blenheim, and returns to same port this evening. The steamer Btormbird arrived here at 1 o'clock this morning from Wanganui. She will now be laid up for the winter, and all the hands transferred to the pjj. Manawatu. The barque Malay arrived in harbor early ibis morning, with a cargo of coal, from Newcastle. She left on the 28th ult., and experienced light W. and N.W. winds till the 6th tost., when it increased to a heavy gale, daring which she was hove-to for 24 hours; made Stephen's Island on Sunday morning, and was off the Headß at 10 pan. same day ; since then, until 3 this morning, she has been knocking about the Strait with adverse winds. The Malay's passenger accommodation has been greatly improved lately, and is now both roomy and well ventilated. ' The steamer Rangitira had not arrived up to S p.m. to-day. She comes from Onehunga, Taranaki, and Wanganui, and left the latter port at 10 last night. The brigantine Isabella, after being detained here since Saturday, succeeded in getting away last night for the Boene of the wreck of the Forest Qaeen. No Further news has been received from the ketoh. The s.s. Jane Douglas, for Fozton, got away The steamers Wakatu andHuiafor Wanganui, and Napier for Blenheim, leave this evening. The Patea took her departure for Patea this afternoon. . Tne s.B. Hawea will arrive here to-morrow morning from Onehunga, Taranaki, Nelson and Pioton, and leaves attain same day for Lyttelton. The steamer Rotorua from Melbourne, Hobart Town and southern ports, should arrive to-morrow morning and sail again at 4 pan. for Auckland, via the East Coast.
