When the vessel was off Madeira, one of the seamen, named William Day, was aloft loosing the topsail when he apparently missed his looting and fell to the deck. ' The unfortunate man was at ouce picked up, and on exainiiiing him it was found that hia injuries were very serious, the thigh bone being broken, shoulder put out, tind he also received concussion ot the bruin. The captain did all he could to relieve the poor fellow, bat without avail, as he died in four hours after the accident Messrs. Levin & Co , are agents for the barque.
