Sir— l notice ia vartons parts of the city abort post* or ugly stumps, as they may ba m 119 properly designated, and which I take to be an indication of the boundary line. Now, sir, there it one of these posts situated at the corner of Cuba and Manners street* prominently standing in the roadway, about two feet from the kerb, and certainly in a position of great danger to any passing vehicle. I would ask, is there any reason why these posts, or this one in particular, should not be removed? Should an accident occur, who would be held responsible ? I am, &c., AW ENQUItBB.
