GEORGE THOMAS has received instructions, by order of the mortgagee, from Mr. A. 8. Allan, the Registrar, to sell by public auction, at his Auction Rooms, Hunter-street (late VenneH's Auction Room), on Friday, 18th July, at 2 o'clock, the parcela of land (described more particularly ia the schedule below), which, together, form a property of great value, consisting of 811 acres, and situate near the Taita, in the Lower Hutt Valley. ' 100 acres of this property, consisting of rich bottom land, close to the. road, suitable for market gardens, with yards, garden, and a four-roomed house; is subject to a lease which has 8i years to run, at a rental of £200 per annum. 6 acres of the land, with a dwelling-house thereon, consisting ol an orchard, stocked with 600 choicest fruit tres, and stable, piggeries, &c. ; Is also subject to a lease with 8J years to run, ttie annual rental being £35. The remainder of the property consists in part of dense bush, suitable for firewood, posts and rails, tea,, and in part open grazing, land, with a nine-roomed dwelling-house, surrounded with a garden upon it. They are driven by two powerful steam - , engines, the one 16-horse power, capable of . working up to 24; the other 14-horse power, capable of working up to 21.
