CARTERTON. This Day.
Some excitement was caused hero to-daj through the discovery by a man while digging in the back garden of the Marquis of Normanby Hotel of the remains of an infant child. It whs in a gin case, and wrapped in flannel. Tho police have taken possession of the body, and Dr. Spratt, the coroner, has been sent for. The body has evidently been buried for twelve months.
