Dr. Cruikshank, health officer for the City f Sandhurst, certifies to the extract being the aost reliable remedy fur external inflammaion, bronchitis, diptheria, affections of the H ungd, cbest, all pains of rheumatic nature, J >eura'gla, Sec-, all swellings, bruises, tprains, g» rounds, disorder of the bowels, diarrhoea, &c. E.Mtome of declaration made before M. m< Esq., J.P , at Sandhurst, Octobir, 877:— The sou of Mr. Raabe was hurt with in axe on the knee. After nine weeks' mecii:al treatment it was declared necessary by Pj Or. Macgiilivray to amputate the injured imb. At that juncture the extract was apilied, aud the wound speedily cured without imputation. The daughter of Mr Junghenn, suffering rom disease of the bone, as pronounced by Drs. Atkinson and Bjyd, was cured just as C speedily. Cures of whooping i-ougn, very severe colds, croup, bronchitis, diphtheria, eariche, pains hi the head (neuralgia), inflammation of the eyes and f.'aat of a severely injured foot; others of bad legs, wound on the arm with euormous swelling, of severe bruises and a sprained ankle (H. Brown), in which case sight months' medical advice was of no avail, are reported by the Donald Times, Newcastle Morning Herald, Cooktown Courier, Yorke's Peninsula Advertiser, and others. The extract inwardly taken regulates the action if the kidneys, cures djsentery and diarrhoeaj and is the surest curat've agrant and preventive of contagion in tcarlct, typhoid, and intermittent fevtr.
