Burch, 90 daya from Mauritius, encountered heavy gales, with terrific sea the latter part of the passage, and was blown off the land on three occasions. Arrived— 9 a.m., Tui, from Wellington; 9.525 a.m., Bangatira, from Wellington. 1 nelson, 3rd July. Arrived, 7 a.m.— Charles Edward, from WelUnßtoa - Taranaki, 3rd July. Arrived, 8 a.m.— Taiaroa, from Onehunga. Bailed, noon— Taiaroa, for Nelßon. The s s. Wakatipu left Dunedin at 4 p.m. on the Ist inst., arrived at Lyttelton at 11 a.m. yesterday, loft again at 5 p.m.. and arrived here at 9 this morning. Bhe sailed for Sydney this afternoon. _ The s s. Kiwi left Napier at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, arrived at Castlepoint at 1 p.m. yesterday, left ae-iin at 2, and arrived in harbor early this morning. She returns to same ports to-morrow The°s3.' Wellington left Nelson at 6.30 last evening, Picton at 6 this morning, and arrived here at 1 p.m. to-day. She sails again to-morxow for norttiern ports. The p s. Manawatu left Wanganui at 7 last night experienced strong south wind, and arrived here at 11.15 this morning. She returns to Wanganui to-morrow. The s s. Ladybird, from Auckland, Tauranga, Poverty Bay, and Napier, arrived at 12.15 this afternoon. She goes Bouth to-morrow at 8 p.m. Tho steamers Tui for Wanganul, Bangatira for Wanganui, Taranaki, and Manukau, Charles Edward for Nelsou and West Coast ports, and Huia and and Jane Douglas for Foxton, sailed The brig Neptune, for Newcastle, cleared the harbor yesterday afternoon. The steamers Huia and Jane Douglas are expected back from Foxton to-morrow morning. The former returnß to Foxton and the latter sails tor Koikoura and Lyttelton same day. The s b. Hinemoa should arrive to-night from Onehunga with his Excellency the Governor. She soils again to-night for Taranaki. The ss. Taiaroa should arrive to-morrow evening irom the Nortti.
