The Government intond to introduce a Bill to amend the constitution of the Legislative Council. t Sidney, Thib J.)av. The Legislative Assembly last night voted an additional sum of £75,000 for the International Exhibition. The Legislative Council yesterday, in committee, made some important amendments in the Lands Amendments Act. The Hon. Mr. Dalder, representing tho Government, intimated that he would have to consult his colleagues regarding UlO fate of the measure. Sailed, yesterday— Hero, for Auckland.
