Wind — Generally between south-east and east and north; backing at placea north of Napier. Babometer— Bise generally, but falling again within 24 hours. Sea.— lncrease at places north of Lyttelton. Wabnxnqb have been repeated to northern stations. There huß been .very little movement of the baromoter in the northern distriotß since yesterday, but it has fallen considerably in the B. A.
