Plans and specifications may be seen at this office, and at the Public Works Offices, Auckland, Wellington, Christcharch, Hokitika, and Urey mouth. Telegraphic tenders, similarly addressed and marked, will be received if presented at any Telegraph Office by noon of the same date, provided that written tendera in due form are lodged at a District or Resident Engineer's Office by the same hour. Telegraphic tendfers, similarly addressed and marked, will be received if presented at any Telegraph Office by NOON of the due date, provided that written tenders in due form re lodged at any of the above named offices by the same hour, and accompanied by a cheque on some bank in the town where the tender is lodged ; such cheque to be specially marked by a banker as good for twenty-one days, and to be in favor of the Receiver-General's Deposit Acconnt only, and not to bearer or order. Competitive designs for proposed Town Hall Municipal Buildings for Christcharch. fTHE City Council of Christchurch are A prepared to receive designs for a Town Hall and Municipal Offices in accordance with the conditions and plan of site deposited at the Office of the Town Clerk at Dunedin, Auckland, Wellington, Nelson, Hokitika, Oamaru, Timaru, Napier, Wanganui, Invercargill, and Christcharch. Premiums offered are £100 for the best design, and £50 for the second. Designs addressed to the Town Clerk are to be sent to the Town Clerk's Office, Christcharch, by noon of the 14th July, 1879. F.
