Arrived— lsle of Bate, from London, after a passage of 114 days. She was beaten off the coast for a fortnight. Tho cargo is valued at £21,551. She brings thirty passengers. One death occurred on board from heart disease. TjTrTEiiTON, 2Tth June. The Chill arrived from Timarn, having parted from both anchors at Timaru on Saturday morning. She previously snipped a sea that carried away nearly the whole ot the port bulwarks witn the stanchions, and stove in the deck engine house, breaking away the donkey engine, and damaging the condenser and the steam-winch. The boat In the port skids was trashed overboard, and Bayed witn difficulty. Tha Alpha, from Timara, put in hero for repairs. Her bowsprit, maintopmast, and bulwarks are gone. „ _ _ 28th Jane. Arrived, Xl.lO a.m.— Hawea, from Wellington. Wanoanui, 28th June. The p.B. Manawatu arrived from Wellington yesterday afternoon. She sails again this afternoon about, 2 o'clook, for Wellington. Onehunoa, 28th June. The s.s. Bangatira leaves here to-day for Tfttan&ki, Wanganui and Wellington.
The sS. Wanaka arrived in harbor early this morning from the Manukau, via Taranaki, Nelson and Pioton. She sailed again this afternoon for Lyttelton. The steamers Napior and Lyttelton arrived from Blenheim last evening, and return this evening. The steamers Huia for Wanganui, and Jane Douglas for Foxton, galled laat evening. The Stella left port yesterday to attend to the lighthouses. The b.B. Southern Cross arrived in harbor at 3.30 this afternoon from Lyttelton, which port she left yeßterday afternoon. The Arawata will arrive from Nelson tomorrow morning, and sail for Melbourne via the South on Monday, taking the outward Suez mail Tha Government steamer Hinemoa leaves this afternoon for Opunoke with a detachment of Armed Constabulary, . j Tho steamers Jane Douglas from Foxton, Tui from Lyttelton and Kaikoura, and Huia from Wanganui, Bhould arrive here to-morrow. The p.b. Manawatu should arrive here tomorrow morning as she was to have left Wanganui tbia afternoon. The s.B Kiwi leaves for the East Coast this afternoon. The Bteamers Oreti and Wanganui are ex1 here to-morrow. the barque Western Belle was berthed at the wharf last evening, and will commence discharging on Monday. The barque wild Wave, for Newcastle, sailed this morning.
