Pastor Chiniquy's lectures at Hobart Town are still undelivered. Tbe authorities are swearing-in special constables. The Roman Catholic Bishop has issued an address to the Roman Catholics requesting them to abstain from attending the lectures. Arrived-aAlbion, from the Bluff. Sidney, 27th June. Hennessy's brandy, case, 32s 6d ; quartercasks, 9s. New Zealand wheat, unchanged ; oats, Is 9d to 2s 3d. Sugar, 375 ; candles, 8d to Bid ; rice and tobacco, unchanged. The area of wheat under cultivation has largely increased. It is estimated that the yield will be nearly a million bushels increase as compared with last jear. Adelaide, 27th Jnne. Wheat, 4s 8d per busbtl. Bkisbakb, 38th June. The Chamber of Commtroe havo resolved to recommend Government to join Victoria in a fortnightly Suez mail service, and to abandon the Torres Straits route. The Hon. S. \V. Griffiths, Attorney-General, has declined the appointment of Puisne Judge.
