Complying with an order of the Sultan, the Khedive has abdicated in favor of his son, the hereditary Prince Tewfik. Later. The abdication of tbe Khedive of Egypt is confirmed. The Chancellor of the Exchequer, in reply to a question, said that misgovernment was the chief cause of his deposition, and noncompliance with financial engagements had also contributed to it. The Chancellor of the Exchequer has promised to produce the papers at an early date. The Bank of England reserve is £20,812,500. Markets unchanged.
