The coasting cutter Lee has been driven •shore on the Great Barrier Beef, and wrecked. The oysterfng schooner Hetty wag stranded in Cabbage Bay. The recent heavy gales are causing anxiety for vessels which have been long oat— among them the brigantine Flirt, which leftßassell for Port Chalmers twenty-eight days ago, with a oargo of coal ; and the schooner Maud Graham, twenty-three days out from Lyttelton. Sailed— Rotorua, for Bluff and Melbourne. Pioton, 37th Jane. The Taiaroa arrived from Wellington at 10 last night, and sailed for Nelson at 1 o'clock this morning. NHIiSos. 27th June. Arrived— Early, Taiaroa, from Pioton; at 2.10 pjn., Wallace, from Wellington. Kaikottha, 27th June. Arrived, daylight— Tui, from Wellington.

? ¦ Tbe steamers Napier and Lyttelton, from Blenheim, should arrive this evening. The b.B. Hawea left Auckland on Monday called at Tauranga on Tuesday, Gisborne on Wednesday, and left Napier at noon yesterday, arriving here at 0.45 this morning ; experienced flno weather. She sailed South this afternoon. The Hinemoa left Auckland at 0 p.m. on Monday, and Taaranga oa Tuesday night, arriving here at 8 p.m. yesterday. ThejS.B. Kiwi, from Napier via Oastlepoint, arrived here at 4 o'clock this morning. She sails again for same ports to-morrow afternoon. The 8.8. Jane Douglas left Lyttelton at 516 p.m. on Wsdneßday, and Eaikoura at 1015 a.m. yesterday, arriving in Wellington at 9.30 last night. ' She leaves tor Foxton this evening. THe outter Lena made our harbor from Fort Underwooa this morning. The steamers Taiaroa for North, Btormbird for Foxton, Manawatu for Wanganui, Patea for Patea, and Tui for Kaikoura and Lyttelton, sailed last evening. The Hula come oft the Blip lost evening, and sails for Wanganui at 8 to-night. The s.s. Arawata left for Picton and Nelson shortly after noon to-day. The s.s. Southern Cross will arrive from Lyttelton to-morrow. The s.B. Wanaka will 'arrive here to-morrow morning from the North, and leaves again same day for Lyttelton only. Messrs. Cofiey & Dixon will have the schooner Garibaldi in se a-going repair this evening; the vessel will probably resume her voyage to Hokitika to-morrow. The some firm have just completed repairs to the schooner Colleen Bawn, which vessel it will be remembered was recently ashore on tbe Otaki bar. She ia now ready for sea.
