THE NATIVE CRISIS. [PER PRESS AGENCY.]
MORE PLOUGHING BY THE NATIVES. STORMY PASSAGE OF THE STELLA. Nbw Plymouth, This Day. The natives are ploughing at Tapae, on the opposite side of the road to that on which they commenced. The Stella arrived yesterday afternoon, after a stormy passage, with a detachment of 50 Armed Constabulary. She left Wellington on Sunday, and that night took shelter in Tory Channel. On Tuesday she had to take shelter in the French Pass. She left there at dusk the same evening. Our cavalry paraded yesterday, and presented a fine appearance.
