LONDON. 24th June.

The Liberal members in the House of Commons are pressing the Government for a definite explanation of the policy they propose to adopt in reference to the refusal of the Khedive to abdicate. It is probable that unless some prompt and decisive action is taken by the Government, the Opposition will make the Egyptian crisis the occasion of a sharp attack upon the present Ministry. Several members of the Chamber of Deputies, previously known as strong Bonapartist supporters, have now openly joined the Republican party, with a view of preventing the Legitimists from gaining the ascendancy. The corn market is quiet. Foreign arrivals are abundant.
