THE new City Bye-Laws having come into operation on Tuesday, tho 13th instant, public attention is drawn to the following : — That all private carts within the city must be forthwith registered ; that all carts and expresses must have PAINTED upon them in characters, not les^ than one inch in length, the words "City of Wellington, No. -~, Liconned Cart or Express, as the case mny be; that all vehicles must carry proper and suffift ctent lights; and that these and all other classes respecting vehicular traffic within the City will henceforth be rigidly enforced, copies ' of the new Bye-Laws may be obtained at the Council office.
