TO THE EDITOR OF THE EVENIIfG POST. Sir— ln the report of the Resident Magistrate's Court proceedings yesterday, the case " Regina v. Beere," it is made to appear that I am the principal in tbe action against my brother. Ido not wish to bins either side, but simply to clear my sol f of the imputation of beinfc- made to appear as tbe promoter of a criminal action against my brother for an assumed grievance; I am simply subpoenaed as a witness- I have never instructed Mr. OUivier to take any steps in tho matter, nor have I ever opened my lips to him upon the subject. By inserting this letter in to-day's issue you will much oblige, Yours, ice, Geo. A. Bebrb. [The name of George Beere appears on the polico charge sheet as the complainant. On inokiog at the information iteelf, however, we find that it is signed by Henry Czerwonka, the sum alleged to have been embezzled being stated to be the money of " George Beere.
