The Railway Department is making great efforts to meet the requirements of the grain season, but it is feared the supply of trucks will be inadequate. The work of transport will commence in about three weeks. The crops are better than was anticipated. At a meeting of the Acclimatisation Society yesterday it was str.ted that over 21,000 trout had been distributed this season.
