The weather yesterday was magnificent, and there was & large attendance at the races. The results were as follows : — Champion Race— Wellington, 1 j Warlock, 2: Bosworth, 3. Nine started. lime, smin. 34sec. Hurdle Race— Pioneer, 1; Abdiliah, 2; Larrikin, 3. Seven hones started. Black Tar was the favorite, bnt fell at one of the hurdles. It v/fcR a good race. Two-Year Old Race— South Hamilton, 1; Geide Olgatbach, 2; Queen Bee, 8. Fourteen horses started. It was a very close finish. Plate— Aconite won easily. Midsummer— AconUe, 1; Drum-Major, 2; Savanaka, 3. Ten horses started. It was a fins race. A"onite won by two lengths. Arrived— Messrs. Money Wlgram's steamer Kent, from London. Sydney, 2nd January. It is 6tated that there is every prospect of a settlement of the dispute between the company and the strikers by mediation. For Tattersall's Cup^Burwood was first, Melbourne secoud, Colima third. Won by ten lengths.
