There was a large attendance attfae Regatta yesterday, though it was not no great m on Bay of the previous yean. The wind wt« N.W., but very light, and it was thus a poor day for sailing races. The following are the results :— Ships' boats Sailing Race; firtt prize, £10; second prizo, £6.- Three entries. Won by Kanßitikei; Mar/ Annlson second. Champion trading vessels, voder 66 tons.-— The Terea. J<*»le Nicol, Owake, Herald, Alert, Croydon. First prize, Shaw, tiatrille's Cup and 76sovs; second, 25iov#. Jetsie Nicol, Oirake, and Croydca were scratched. The Alert, Herald, and Torea won, in the order namsd, liter a long race, the wind having failed. la toe Champion Yacht Itace the Dove passed toe "Jommittee's sh'p si; 7 p.m., beating the TJrU by five minute i. Four oared whaleboat, tor youths; prizes, £10 and £3.~W0n by the I Rangitoto; Avalan :he second. Sailing Uace, in open boats; prfces, £25 and £5 —Won by I Toy; Rangitlkel second.
