A destructive fire has occurred at Hong' Kong, which lasted two days. There wag great destruction of property. The ship Nortbam, from London, bound for Sydney, has been completely destroyed by fire. The crew and passengers were stred. ' A message despatched from the Governor of Cape Colony asks Cetawayo to disarm, to disband his army, to cede Saint Lucia Bay, and to nceive an English resident at his court. Greek Commissioners have been appointed for the rectification of the Turko-Greek frontier. Yakoob Khan has arrived at Jellalabad. This is regarded as a sign of submission on the part of Afghanistan. 29th December. At a meeting of the Sydney Exhibition Committee it was announced that a large number of German and Austrian exhibitors had applied for space in the coming Sydney Exhibition, and that the French Government has inserted in the Budget a vote of 115,000 francs to assist the exhibitors. The San Francisco Mail has arrived ; it wai delivered on the 24th.
